1.AI-driven Geochemical Anomaly Mapping

Geochemical anomaly mapping as a computer-based approach to delineate target areas for exploration of certain mineral deposits has evolved from being statistically-driven to artificial intelligence (AI)-driven. The applications of AI in geochemical anoaly mapping are ever increasing nowadays to address the complexity of relationships among geochemical variables and with known deposit occurrences. The session welcomes submissions for presentations of novel AI algorithms and applications for recognition of significant geochemical anomalies, and and associated uncertainty, to support mineral exploration.
2.Gold Mineralization Processes and Geochemical Exploration Techniques

This session is dedicated to advancing the fundamental understanding of gold mineralization systems and translating this knowledge into innovative, effective exploration methodologies.The core topics will encompass the full spectrum of hydrothermal gold systems, from orogenic and epithermal to intrusion-related and Carlin-type deposits. Discussions will focus on the source, transport, and enrichment mechanisms of gold, examining key controls such as fluid-rock interaction, metal complexation, pressure-temperature fluctuations, and the role of specific lithologies and structures.

4.A Decadal (2015–2025) View of Trends and Issues in Applied Geochemistry Research in Africa

The presentations in this “Special Thematic Session” aim at documenting the decadal successes in AG application in Africa, identifying the knowledge gaps, and examining the current challenges and future perspectives. Recent technological advances [AI, computer simulation, analytical instrumentation (laboratory and field)] and other novel approaches for addressing the issues are appraised, for it is against this backdrop that the design of further research on these subjects would be predicated.
5. Predictive Geochemistry for Mineral Exploration: Machine Learning and Multisource Data Integration

This session focuses on how data-driven methods can be used to extract robust geochemical information, integrate complementary data sources, and improve spatial prediction and mapping.The session welcomes contributions where geochemistry remains the core information source, while ML/AI techniques are applied to address classical and emerging challenges such as e.g., multivariate analysis, non-linearity, spatial dependence, and uncertainty.
6.Pre-Analysis Treatment of Geochemical Data: Understanding Data Character and Constraints Before Analysis

This session will present talks and posters dedicated to the understanding and preparation of geochemical data for advanced numerical analysis. Topics will include: QAQC, data distributions, data transformations, missing data imputation, and other data pre-conditioning procedures, as well as initial data evaluation steps, such as univariate frequency analysis, bivariate correlation analysis, and spatial data presentation.
7. Mesozoic Mineralization in Eastern China

This proposed session aims to bring together international researchers to synthesize the latest advances in understanding the genesis of Mesozoic ore systems in eastern China. We seek to foster interdisciplinary discussions that link deep geodynamic processes to shallow crustal magmatism, hydrothermal activity, and ultimate ore formation. The session will provide a platform to address key unresolved questions and propose new metallogenic models with global implications.

9. Exploration Geochemistry of Strategic Non-metallic Minerals

18.Advances in Geochemical Mapping for Health Assessment

19.Hydro-Climatic Extremes and Shifting Environmental Geochemical Patterns: Quantitative and Spatial Approaches across Environmental Media
