Date
September 12–16, 2026

Where
Beijing, China

The 31st International Applied Geochemistry Symposium (IAGS2026) will be held in Beijing from September 12 to 16, 2026. Since its inception, the symposium has been dedicated to advancing applied research and technological innovation in geochemistry for mineral exploration, environmental monitoring, resource development, and related fields.

The theme of this symposium focuses on “Data-driven geochemical data mining in support of mineral exploration and environmental studies”,highlight the transformative role of data science in applied geochemistry, emphasizing the use of advanced analytical and computational tools to unlock new insights from geochemical data. This symposium will showcase recent advances in data analytics, machine learning, and geochemical interpretation that are transforming the fields of mineral exploration and environmental geoscience. We aim to foster cross-disciplinary exchange and practical applications to address current challenges in exploration, environmental protection, and sustainable resource development.

On behalf of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) and the Association of Applied Geochemists (AAG), we sincerely invite experts, scholars, and researchers from all over the world to participate in the symposium. We look forward to engaging in discussions on the latest progress and development trends of data-driven geochemical research in the fields of mineral exploration and environment with all participants.
