Theme of the IAGS 2026
Our theme for the 2026 conference is “Data-driven geochemical data mining in support of mineral exploration and environmental studies” and our goal is to attract over 400 representatives from industry, universities, research organizations, government departments and consultancies, along with a strong contingent of recent and current students.
This theme highlights the importance of harnessing the power of data analytics and mining techniques to advance our understanding of geochemical processes. By leveraging these methods, we can unlock the potential of geochemical data to inform mineral exploration efforts and environmental studies, ultimately leading to more efficient, sustainable, and responsible practices in both domains. The symposium aims to bring together experts from various fields to share their insights and experiences on this critical topic, fostering collaboration and innovation in the field of applied geochemistry.
