Badaling Great Wall, Located at the northern entrance of the Guangou Ancient Path in Jundu Mountain, Yanqing District, Beijing, the Badaling Great Wall covers a tourist area of 1.19 square kilometers. As a vital section of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall, it served as a strategic outpost of the Juyong Pass, historically renowned as the key defensive point where "the peril of Juyong Pass lies not in the pass itself but in Badaling".The Badaling segment of the Ming Great Wall, known as the "Jade Pass and Natural Moat," was listed among the Eight Scenic Views of Juyong Pass. It is the earliest opened section of the Great Wall to tourists and forms the core of the Badaling scenic area, which features modern facilities such as the Badaling Hotel and the China Great Wall Museum inscribed by President Jiang Zemin. Recognized as a national model site for civilized tourism, Badaling is celebrated for its majestic landscape, well-developed infrastructure, and profound cultural significance.
